Welcome to Class 1SM
The teacher for Class 1SM is Mrs Maidment. However, she is on Maternity Leave at present so her class is being taken by Mrs Wier on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and by Mrs Carey on Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs Loton is the Teaching Assistant.
In Year 1 we have been learning all about the rainforests. Click on the photo of the rainforest we made in class to open up a website with lots of interesting information on this tropical environment.
We have also been reading the story of Little Red Riding Hood. The Big Bad Wolf is on the loose so we made some 'WANTED' posters to try and track him down! To watch and listen to a version of the story, click on the photo of Little Red.
