World Book Day

This year World Book Day will be on Thursday 6th March.

As in previous years, schoolchildren are receiving a £1 book token, which can be exchanged in all participating bookshops for one of nine specially published £1 books. These books cater for a wide age group, from early years to teenagers.

To celebrate World Book Day, St Michael's is going to have a 'pyjama day'.  We are asking pupils to come to school in their pyjamas with their favourite bedtime storybook which they will have a chance to shcare in literacy.  They may also bring slippers and a dressing gown if they wish.  They may choose to come in school uniform and get changed during registration.
